Itinerary
DAY 1: MAYO RIVER CANOEING
- Reception at the appropriate time and transfer from the airport to the hotel
- 3:00 pm Pick-up and departure to the village of San Miguel del Río Mayo, located 35 minutes from Tarapoto
- Introductory briefing and delivery of safety equipment (life jackets, helmet, paddle, etc.)
- Start of the canoeing activity
- Optional Tarzan rope swing or bridge jump
- Time to float or swim in the river
- Approximately 6:30 pm Arrival in Tarapoto
DAY 2: FULL DAY LAGUNA AZUL
- Breakfast at the hotel
- 08:30 am Pick-up and departure to Laguna Azul, 53 km from Tarapoto, crossing the Huallaga River by ferry and continuing to the town of Sauce (approx. 2-hour journey)
- Boat ride on Laguna Azul
- Tasting of exotic regional drinks
- Arrival at the tourist recreation area by the lagoon with free time for swimming and optional activities (jet ski, canopy, banana boat, etc.)

- Approximately 6:00 pm Arrival in Tarapoto
DAY 3: FULL DAY CARPISHUYACU WATERFALL
- Breakfast at the hotel
- 09:00 am Pick-up and departure to the waterfall, located 34 km from Tarapoto (approx. 45 minutes)
- 20-minute hike to the Tiracu stream and crossing on a rustic wooden raft
- Enjoy the thermal bathing pools
- Continue hiking for approximately 25 more minutes (up and down rustic stairs) to reach the waterfalls
- Free time to swim and enjoy the surroundings
- Lunch at a local restaurant in the village
- Approximately 4:30 pm Arrival in Tarapoto
DAY 4: RECREATIONAL FISHING ON THE HUALLAGA RIVER
- Breakfast at the hotel
- 08:00 am Pick-up and departure to the district of Shapaja, located 30 minutes from Tarapoto
- Short boat ride along the Huallaga River surrounded by lush nature to the ideal fishing spot
- Arrival at the river beach and introduction to fishing techniques and equipment (rod, reel, lines, etc.)
- Free time for fishing, enjoying beverages, and swimming in the river depending on conditions
- Approximately 12:00 pm Arrival in Tarapoto
DAY 5: DEPARTURE FROM TARAPOTO
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer from hotel to airport at the appropriate time
